The linksys should work with DSL. It is still a broadband connection. DSL and ADSL are the same thing. DSL is a gerneric term for ADSL, SDSL ect. ADSL is asymmetric digital subscriber line. Which carries a higher Down Speed than Up speed.. SDSL symmetric digital subscriber line, which supports same up speed as down speed. I'm not sure why you linksys would not work with your current ADSL. What make and model is the linksys?
