I'm studying to get Network+ certified and I was wondering if someone could help me out with a question I had on the 5-4-3 rule for networking with hubs.

I'm confused about this rule.

1. Lets say path from node A to node B goes through 6 hubs, but only 2 of the hubs are populated segments. Is the rule broken or is it ok?
