If it wasn't for the man pages in Linux, I believe my thread count on the UbuntuForums would be exponentially higher. They are extremely convenient for quick answers and are very short and to the point, while still giving you plenty of info on the particular command or task you are trying to do.
I'm the average guy. I never read directions when I'm putting something together. But man pages (your digital guide) is a blessing to utilize.
