Okay, it about 12 hours now since i have picked up the iPhone.
I found that intergrations with Outlook 2007 rather easy. Calander and Contacts comes accross, but I am missing the Outlook Tasks. Not that I spend too much time paying attention to tasks for day to day activities. However it's nice to know when I have things like bills to pay and car rego.
I do miss the Windows Mobile Active Syc where i can sync my contacts between 2 computers. I do like syncing my Outlook between both my work and home computer. Minor set back as I can email this information to my home computer. And considering that I am with a new employeer now, I am not sure how much of my personal life i want to be currently leaving on my work station.
I do fine that the touch foil display being rather sexy.
Spent most of last night playing around with iTunes and moving music over. I am a little annoyied that if I want to convert a song into a ring tone, I need to have purchased it from iTunes.
The alarm clock feature is excellent. I normally like having a few alarms during the day, and the iPhone is pretty much allowing me to put in as many as I want. Where other phones might only allow me 3 to 5. So I can not had the weekday 7:30 - short wake up, 8:30 - wake up - 9:30 - GET THE *** OUT OF BED NOW alarms, along with my 2:55pm move car alert and 5:00 thursday night put out the rubbish. And after that, I still have space to put in more when I need a custome alarms that i might have.
Having a SSD Drive for the hard drive is nice. I remember owning a Creative Nomad and there was always that contact vibrating and clicking from the hard drive.
My other complaint at this stage is the default hearphones. They don't fit in my ears that well.
Apart from that, the other thing that did have me sold on the iPhone was that I could get Cooking Mama for iPhone. For some strange reason, I just love playing that game.
