no need to use thirt party software. Microsoft windowXp already have it as built in software.
right click on desktop==> new shortcut==>on "Type the location of item" please key in
shutdown /s /t 0(zero) ==> finish.
now on your desktop will see a shortcut names shutdown.exe. just click it your pc will shutdown.
note if you want to restart just change /s to /r.
