Computer Forums - View Single Post - Alright, I am building a new computer... which OS?

I was hoping people who are more knowledgeable than myself could recommend which OS to run on my new build.

I already have Windows XP 64bit but I am thinking Vista is a better choice. The problem I am having is that I have no idea which version of Vista to purchase.

Is Ultimate necessary, or should I save 80$ on Premium?
