Default Re: Problem occurred when plugging in floppy drive.

Yea, I know how to do boot order. When I installed XP I only had the DVD connected not zip. I know first boot should only be essentials. Please don't take my words as arrogant. I'm just trying to tell you what I know. So how do I change the IDE device order. The only thing I can change is (TYPE) Auto, CDROM, ARMD. (LBA) Disabled, AUTO. (Block) Disabled, Auto. That's it and like I said WD 640GB is 3rd device. If you want to see what I'm looking at please dl my maual here.

ASUSTeK Computer Inc.-Support-

I called ASUS TS yesterday. He had me pull 1 of my RAM sticks and then check for a few days if it gets black screen again. Today when I started it up I got black screen. So I shut it off put my other RAM stick back in and started it again. I figure it can't be that stick it had problem with w/out it in there. BTW black screen is not correct the screen looks almost red and no blinking cursor at all. So now it is up and running again everthing seems fine. I don't get this at all. Do you think it has anything to do with IDE order? Thanks
