Since you live in SoCal, there has to be a Staples around you. Grab this: Staples.comŽ. that was easyŽ -- Office Supplies, Technology, Furniture & more!
and use paper towels. Works on my screen with a few sprays, but you a 40", lol, might take a couple more sprays.
