You weren't alone! I simply deleted it on sight and noticed the problem was already taken care of! A 40 post minimum is nothing big since other sites have a higher count imposed while some only see a 10 post minimum.
Spammers generally want immediate means whether by new threads or pms. You certainly won't hear any complaints from this direction while suggesting a report spam thread if found needed in order to have a spam bake!
