the reason you pay $200 for a new graphics card is that a PC is an EVOLVING platform. it is completely scalable and you can upgrade as much as you want to or as much as your budget allows to.
I prefer xbox over ps2 because the online play is easier and more stable I feel... since I barely had the time to play I sold both my ps2 and xbox though
