Not sure I would worry about SLI. I have almost the same setup running a 8800GTS 640 and score 13k+ on 3dMark06. With either 8800GT/S G92, should be a bit higher, your choice, do a bit of research. This MB supports Crossfire, which may be the way togo in the future, only time will tell. Vista is the way togo, but I would not go 64 bit. It is not supported enough yet. I have yet to have a problem with Vista and my new pc in my sig. The Q6600 will OC to 3.4-3.6GHz with not much problem on air. The 45nm Core2Duo would also be a good choice to check out. This setup should be a good future proof system. Just my suggestion.
