IMO, figure out "WHAT do you WANT to be doing... as in the jobs/fields out of college?"
back in 95, my starting salary was 32k (consulting)
have no idea what people are making now???
certifications depend on you goals or your employers goals/requirements.
internship... start now, look for something good!!
but one thing you need to ask yourself...
do you want a Job or a Career?
there is a BIG difference
