First off I'm using windows vista and yesterday it was doing an update and it had an update for creative audio driver. I don't have creative audio hardware in my laptop. Its just the default onboard.
So I tried redownloading my dell drivers and they installed fine. However my tray icon shows "The Audio Service is not running". Even though in the device manager and sound properties it shows my onboard sound card.
All my sound is coming from the internal speaker (just loud annoying beeps). Any suggestions?
