Ok.....well I've been able to swap hard drives from one pc to the other in the past and the OS worked (I can also install the HD from my old PC in my new one and the OS works), but that may very well be part of my problem in THIS case......I'll try re-installing again on the PC that it's actually going in and see what happens.

Yes....that's what I tried with the new HD and rather than windows setup running on bootup, something called Caldron DR-DOS booted up and all kinds of script goes up the screen then eventually gives an A: prompt.
