Default Re: OpenSUSE 10.2 + Wireless Dlink help?

Well I've gone through as many network tutorial things as I can take tonight with no luck still.

I guess I may have to start at the beginning again and do it allover. Everything seems right. I think everything installed properly, but I'm not sure. I found a "native linux driver" for my USB dongle apparently, but don't know if it works or not really...or if it's even actually a true linux driver for it...

I got the USB thing to have the "link" light on, but the activity light is still out and 'iwconfig' lists no wireless extensions, blah humbug. I hate wireless. If only my router wasn't upstairs I'd be all set right now...dammit, oh well.

If anyone can help me out on this wirelessly I'd appreciate it! WiFi is my only option in this room really right now, stinks so much! Wish I could go gigabit hardlined...mmm...
