How to make your computer "secure":
turn off any unnecessary services.
shut down any uneeded open ports.
secure all admin/root accounts.
unplug all cables from it. (network, usb, keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc.)
place it in a concrete box, seal with additional concrete.
bury that box 6 feet undergound and leave no marking as to where it it burried.
and MAYBE you've got yourself a secure server.
Heard that joke a few years ago. Thought it was oddly appropriate for some reason.
