I'm on a home network, with 1 other machine. And no one in my family even knows what the REGEDIT is. Is this a serious thing? Can AdAware still get rid of stuff in the Registry Editor? How can I get rid of it? Posted by: anarchy Regedit: Registry Editor. Basically where all of your computer's information is stored. That's a serious problem when your involving the registry editor. Anyone think they can figure this out? Posted by: ChaosBlizzard
Originally posted by anarchy Regedit: Registry Editor. Basically where all of your computer's information is stored.
No its not the registry, regedit is the tool used to edit the registry, there are actually two parts to your registry on the hard drive, as long as their integrity is in tack your system will function. Just see if you cant find another regedit.exe and put it into your C:\WINNT folder. Posted by: kboy Maybe this link can help ya out.
