moving from general PC Building to Networking...

Can you tell us what kind of host this will be used on? Laptop or desktop?
If desktop, as The Major and Ellothar121 mentioned, a PCI card would be a good choice if you have an available PCI slot.
If you have a laptop, do you have an available PCMCIA (a.k.a. PC Card I think...) slot?

What model router are you using in your network. In my experience, it is best practice to use the same brand equipment within a wireless network to avoid issues.

Sorry, about posting in the wrong forum. I need 2 cards for 2 for desktops, and I got a linksys router which is upstairs and about 40 feet away from the computers, but I don't remember the model number since my buddies got it right now. But I'm not agaimst buying a new one if you could recommend a good set. Im curious about the new 'N' ones.

I think that the PCI ones for the desktops would be a great choice. I've had personal good experiences with them :D

Just out of curiousity, what makes USB wifi adaptors so bad?

I have just had bad esperiences with them, and I am not positive on USB throughput at the moment, but I think that it is 40 Meg or so, and actually restricts the throughput of 54 Meg wireless.... My numbers on USB could be off though....
