I'm downloading a game demo and I want to have it on both computers on my home network. What would I have to do to get this done? I know I could just download it from the internet on both computers but is there a faster way? Like could I copy the demo to the other computers hard disk somehow?

sure, setup filesharing and just copy the file from one machine to the other--can be done with any OS prettymuch, even across different types of OS's, I do it everyday

make sure you enable the receiving computer to accept changes made from someone else (the first comp) on the network, so you can paste it in the file
