There is a great new site out there that you can use to get work on the side and make an extra buck! The url is [SNIPPED]

At this site you can list yourself so people in your area can find you and contact you for computer assistance instead of getting ripped off by a large retailer! This site is 100% free and its got some really useful features. Make sure to check it out!!

Though it might be a useful link, it's usually considered spam when someone joins to only make a post about his/her site. A good way to advertise is to put the link in your sig (following the sig rules, of course) and to post like a regular member.

BTW, how do you insure that people really get a technician rather than someone that "thinks" they are a tech?

I think I know the Web site- I'm a member of a few different ones. Thing is, you can't ensure people are getting a technician rather than someone who "thinks" they are a tech. You can tell who's a tech and who's not, simply by the way they talk and offer suggestions. With these Web sites poping up that you can join for free, to take service calls, I wish they would do a little more background work on the people that sign up. Problem with these sites is you have people taking low-ball work orders, because they're not techs, and they don't realize their worth.
