I spent 1 hour fixing a computer and told the chick $10.00 for fixing it when she asked how much and get this she handed me $100.00 like it was nothing and she was rich but really she isn't rich cause I work with her at a grocery store that pays $7.00 an hour

amazing?

And you accepted it? Dude, I would've refused. Builds trust and friendship.

Posted by: diabloII

she might have been dumb and read the 100 as a 10, i've done this before except it was to a cashier

Posted by: M4A1

If she's your friend, you would give her the $100 back. Greed leads you nowhere.

Exactly what I said. She would've respected you more.

I guess your intention of this thread was that everyone would congratulate you on your newfound wealth. =P

We're all philanthropists, here.

Or really desperate for social interaction...

Posted by: M4A1

Agreed.

Rite O ikillyou61, get over making new threads now please

Posted by: M4A1

Even though they (the threads he makes) are incredibly stupid, it's almost amusing.
Almost... especially the ones that could be answered by dermatologists.

I have only acceptd money for working on a friend's computer one time, and that was only because I spent four hours on it and he said he felt guilty for me not getting paid.

I wouldn't let him give more than $20, though.

I fix friends' computers because I can, not to get paid.

i dont accept money for fixing computers

btw i only fixed my own computer so far

lol

I totally agree and am the exact same way. I usually don't accept money from them, I just demand them to bring me drinks when I get thirsty while working on their systems. :D Well, I only do that with good friends.

Also, don't judge this guy for accepting the $100 until you know all the facts. If your assumptions are right, then I agree. But what could have happend was the lady demanded he take the $100. Kinda farfetch'd but still a possibility.

[EDIT] I just re-read the title of the post. So now I figure that he's just bragging. Wow. You're "awesome"?

LOL

i got paid $20 just to install printer drivers. Took me all of 5 minutes.

But I dont feel bad considering I did this for a person who owns a construction company and they wrote me a company check. Also the "service call" was on short notice.

I think you guys are way off mark. I believe she wants you to throw down on her. She wants you to be her little computer fixing sex hound. Heh. Do it if shes hot.
