[color=darkred]I've been using it for 2 days now. Works fine over here in the Netherlands. I use VoiPBuster, but that one does not support free calls to US. VoiPStunt does, however. All you have to do is download the program, signup usng the program, buy some credits. If you only call to countries that are free you won't use up your credits so you can call as long as you want.
I don't know how much they charge in US, but I paid €1,30 by phone, for €1,04 credits. I already talked to people for hours and still have €1,04 credits.

[color=darkred]You can also get your own free VoiP number (login on website), so anybody can call you on your computer. I don't know if people will have to pay more than usual if they call you on your VoiP number. I tested it with my cell and it works.

EDIT: Somebody just told me it's limited to 30minutes per day and you don't have to pay neccesarely.
The program from VoiPBuster.com is not limited, however. Too bad it doesn't include US as a free country.[/color]

Bah. Doesn't support linux. If i needed computer-based voip, I would just use skype. Thanks for the info. Someone else might find a use for it.

Voip is horrible. My uncle bought a router and a voip phone adapter and the internet doesnt work while the phone is being used or charged. Also, only 1 of the 2 phone jacks work. So i just got him to buy a splitter to the one phone jack that works.

If you use Skype and 1-800-FREE-411 you can make free calls from your computer, no credits neccesary. I've only done it once, though, as I've had no reason to do it.
