I beleive, Eric, that is an output device only????...but being unfamiliar with it, I won't bet my life on it. However, good cheap video capture = Dazzle: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=Go&DEPA=0&type=&description=dazzle&Category=0&minPrice=&maxPrice=&Go.x=0&Go.y=0

not it's an input device. I got one hook up to my kid's computer with cable. they use to reail for 79-89 bucks. you can hook you vcr vedio out up to the composite in and use 1/8 to rca for the audio
