Sucks for those uinder 18 taht live in california now!
The bill introduced by Speaker pro Tempore Leland Yee, seeking to restrict sales of violent video games to minors, has been approved 65-7 in the California State Assembly. Yesterday this was one of many bills either passed or rejected by the assembly. California's Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger must either sign or veto the bill within 30 days. Specifically, Assembly Bill 1179 would explicitly forbid retailers from supplying minors with games depicting "serious injury to human beings in a manner that is especially heinous, atrocious, or cruel". Retailers violating the policy would be fined up to $1,000. Additionally, such games must be labeled with a sticker indicating the games are for purchase only by adults. However, this seems distinct from the ESRB rating of "AO" (Adults Only), as Mr. Yee claims in his press release that "parents cannot trust the ESRB to rate games appropriately or the industry to look out for our children's best interests." ok.....seems pointless to me, thats what the whole MATURE rating system was supposed to mean, yet parents turn around and try to blame the game companies even though it's the stupid *** PARENTS not bothering to look at the stickers.

Oh well doesn't bother me, not in that age range :D BRING ON THE ADULT VIDEOS AND GAMES!

I view a mature video game being playied by a minor is the same thing has a the minor renting/buying a mature movie.

As long as there is a parent, and it their child, I don't see a problem.
With the exclusion of porn where i find that parents purchasing porn for minors is just ****ed up.
"parents cannot trust the ESRB to rate games appropriately or the industry to look out for our children's best interests."
Now is that a scapegoat clause or what!!!!!!!
Messed up minor due to video games or other media is the fault of the parents for allowing them to play/watch the game in the first place. (aka bad parenting)
Not of the store owner.
And not the video game developer.

Not soo much, but "excitement" for guys is nesscary.

Many years ago, we got what wasnt claimed and what we wanted.

Now, we go on the internet since girls have rights now.
