Alright guys/girls, if you are like me, you are getting annoyed with the name Microsoft posted every where, well we are using Windows, but do we really need it on IE as well?

Here is a short how-to which tells you how to get rid of that "Microsoft Internet Explorer" and change it to anything your heart desires.

Or you could just use regedit and go to the HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/InternetExplorer/Main folder and edit the string Window Title, but then again, if you don't see that string you have to create it. Give it a value of what ever you want your IE window to be called.

PS. Don't spam TF with links to your site. If you want to help here, GREAT!!! but don't try to help by linking back to your site, it's just not cool.

Did you also know you can rename Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, any messenger tool (yahoo, msn etc) or just about any other program that requires a window?

Its a broken Link.

You've got to use both, well you don't have to use "Both" but you have to keep IE as it doesn't let you do Windows Update, Defrag... basicly anything Windows/IE related as I found out after Uninstalling it ;).

Nice, DJ-CHRIS. I like the Firefox open in the background (You can barely see it on the right of the picture, for those of you who didnt notice it).
