Posted by: Nitro The Gamecube has many good games. For those of you making blind accusations, step back and look at some of the flagship titles including Metroid Prime. You won't find a more solid game released in 2002 then Prime. Also take a look at Eternal Darkness, Resident Evil, heck even BMX XXX if you want to push the limits of good taste. I'm just naming the best I've playing that have no aim towards the "kiddies". The Gamecube has a wide variety of games, for [I]all[/I] ages. Just because of a games that don't show blood like Zelda: Wind Waker and Super Mario Sunshine [I]exist[/I] on this system doesn't mean its for babies. I'm sick of all this banboy ****. The XBox is a great console too, as is the PS2. Thats why they sell. But remember Nintendo has never been second in sales in the videogame industry, so they must be doing [I]something[/I] right. oh, yeah. Although thewir games look childish they almost invariably are solid and have a high replay factor. 3rd party companies generally aim more at teenagers - gore and nudity - what all teenages crave (necrophiles). Now I have a Dreamcast, a Gameboy Avdance SP, a Nintendo 64 and I just bought a Gamecube today. The Gamecube is nice, got some fun games, but can't really find the games I like for it. Good graphics, so far it seems like the graphics are as good as the Xbox's. It says ATI on the side, what kind of card does it use, or is it all made-for-GC stuff? I haven't played it or even seen it up close, but it sounds like it'd be a good FPS. On another note, I asked the clerk if GC had GTA: san andreas out for it, and he said that Nintendo was more geared towards, I agreed, but then I saw resident evil zero and some other "bad-to-the-christian-community" and still wonder why GTA isn't out on GC. Depending on which genre you like to pursue, I like different titles graphics and stories. I my self like development of story, Graphics, and how much options you can use. THat's the basis. Now given those categories many would say that RPG's would be my forte. That's true but I like a lot of the Ps2 shooter games, along with many capcom titles and the continuous series that comes along. I read above and can tell I can keep going but I'll stop. I hate tangent. As for the statement above about no good games for the stated console, "umm no" There are a lot great games for each new console. My bro just brough NFL Street for it the other day (only £10 new!) and its a good laugh, quite difficult mind. Ive got rainbow six, prince of persia 2 and sonic heroes (thats my bro's lol). Not all the games are kiddy but i know where your coming from. Partly the reason im holding out for a PSP other DS, becuase the games all look kiddy on the DS. [/B][/QUOTE] The X Box is also the by far the biggest, which is one of the main reasons that it did so bad in Japan (they like small, space saving things). The GC's handle is pretty nifty for when you need to take it on a trip, being so compact and all. Really, Xbox and GCN are both good systems, but there are two groups of people that follow each system. It's also nice to play the Sonic Mega Collection when I can't be bothered to set up my Megadrive. And those games are two of the best looking games ever.
