Hey yall

My cd-rw/cd-rom dont work!!!
ive tried 3 different cd-roms in my computer and they all have stop reading after about a week or so later.

Windows say it is working properly (device manager), even though when i put a cd in, nothin happens.

just wondering wat i should do before i buy another
cd-rw.

Is it a power supply problem? im using my stock PSU and itz only a 300Watt one.

ne help would be awesome!

you might want to try and put the cdrom on a different power jack. mabye its just a faulty jack.
if not, mabye your IDE on your mobo is messed up. in that case, try and run it off of the primary HDD as a slave (if it isnt already)mabye also, try and installing the drivers that come with the cdrom drive, the default ones with windows arent always that great.
