I have:Norman AdAware ( it is the same as lawasoft just different name), PestPAtrol 2005, Spybot S&D, Giant (MIcrosoft) Anti Spyware, BPS Spyware remover, XsoftSpy, SpyWAre Blaster, Omniqad Antispy.. I dont know if this has something with removed messanger, but with it also doesnt work.. Which Search Assistent do you have in mind? Iam using Mozzila Firefox browser. Thank you Posted by: uzi9mm Even though you have firefox does not mean you cant get spyware. You have to first configure it. Also you can get spyware by opening files infected with spyware. HijackThis creates backups, these are needed in case of any recovery issues.
