Then on the file menu choose [b]‘backup registry’ in Windows 9x[/b] or [b]‘export’ in XP[/b]. [b]Download[/b] the [url=http://www.cexx.org/lspfix.htm]LSPfix.txt[/url] and read the readme file. I believe that there's not new.net anymore. But the computer still runs slow, and fails to open some programs sometimes, specially when iniciating windows. Is there any other problem or, in any case, could I somehow optimize the cpu (it's not really working considering it is a P4 at 2.66 ghz!)? thanks again. You can do some system maintenence such as: Defragment your Hard Drive - Defrag Tool ScanDisk Clean out your systems temporary files - Under Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Disk CleanUp Go to PCPitstop [url]http://www.pcpitstop.com[/url] and run some of the tests their.
