I am using Avast antivirus. It prompts me every after 5 min. or so that there is a virus in my computer. I have checked all my hardisk but there is no virus found. Avast prompts me only when i am connected to internet.

I have deleted my cookies, still no luck
any ideas....

Try one of the online virus scanners to see what it says:

There are four listed in that thread. IF you are infected. Then get the name of it, and see if you can download the tool to get rid of the infection. If not, come back and we will try and help. Liz

thnx for ur valuable advice.
I tried Spybot.After fixing all the problems with spybot i connect to internet again, but situation is very much same.
lemme give u the file name it prompts to be infected

file name :

Okay, sounds like we need to have you run a HiJack Log as well...while I do some research on this virus. You may have other things infecting your computer. Go to the link in my signature and get the latest version...1.99.1

Please create a directory on your [b]C:\[/b] drive called [b]C:\HJT[/b], download and unzip HijackThis into that directory. Run the program from that directory from now on.

[b][color=green][size=3]STEPS For Creating Folder[/size][/color][/b]

[b]1.[/b] Please go to My Computer, open your [b]C:\[/b] drive, Select: New >> Folder and name the folder [b]HJT[/b].

[b]2.[/b] Download HijackThis to the new folder:

[b]3.[/b] Double Click on 'HijackThis.zip' to extract and install HijackThis.exe to the new folder.

[b]4.[/b] Close ALL windows except HJT

[b]5.[/b] SCAN with HJT and SAVE LOG. (a notepad window will open with the log in it when you click Save Log) (Ctrl-A to'select all', Ctrl-C to 'copy')

[b]6.[/b] POST the log in this thread using 'Add Reply' (Ctrl-V to 'paste')

Okay, I was looking for Avast's cleaner for that trojan and there isn't one ssssssssssssooooooooo, I am going to suggest a FREE Trojan cleaner. Go here: [URL=http://www.majorgeeks.com/download4281.html]a-squared Free edition 1.52[/URL] download and run it. Liz
