Could I just hook up the 12v wires (from battery) to the speakers and have the sound output from the speakers hooked up too? Would that sound ok? Posted by: Ankush09 yep.. i think.. Posted by: OCC Fan depends on what your speakers say... they usually tell you what the voltage is on the back of the speakers. Posted by: Sevoma I said they were 12 volt. I think I am using only one though. It they are 5" 10 watt speakers. Posted by: Sevoma When I add the 12v to it, the volume doesn't get any louder than when just the cd player is hooked up to it. Posted by: Sevoma Would an amplifier do what I need? Posted by: OCC Fan i would just buy speakers that is able to be plugged into a wall outlet AND able to be used by using batteries..... seems like way too much work for just speakers, i would just but the new speakers. Posted by: Sevoma Yeah but I would like like to have the feeling that I did it and I would rather not spend anymore money. I know there is a way and it can't be too hard. Posted by: OCC Fan i understand..... yea i think an amp will do the trick.... where u gunna put all this stuff on ur bike anyway? Posted by: Sevoma Either put a rack on the back or a detacheable bag by the seat. Posted by: DJ-CHRIS omg, speakers dont have a voltage. They are measured in ohms and watts I will correct this entire thread after lunch. Posted by: Sevoma Ok. thanks DJ-CHRIS. I though they were 12v because they came out of a car. It is 10 watts and I think 4 ohms. vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited. PPC Management vB Easy Archive Final - Created by Xenon |
