This was nuts. DDR592 pretty much with 2-2-2-4 timings! That's insane! Notice his vdimm is at 4volts! Yikes

Posted by: gaara

Wow, and that's on G-Skill right? That memory is really something else, I would kill to have timings even close to that.

Is that 230*C ?!?!

Posted by: DJ-CHRIS

Yeah look at his CPU sensor, it's shot

Real nice ram speeds too btw, i wish i had that system :/

Posted by: comrad

HOLLY SH** 230*C ****!!!

Posted by: mike11973

He said Bh-5 record so No it is not g.skill unless they make Bh-5 which I dont think they do. What makes even more impressive is that it us bh-5 b/c TCCD hits over 300fsb regularly but not bh-5.

OMG I WANT TO DO THAT

Posted by: comrad

Overclocking is addicting, you try a little and want more and more and soon you are ordering Liguid Nitrogen for your LN cooling project!

He tells you what it is a few down"
that's my very old mushkin pc3500 level II, and I took the heatspreaders out!
It's not 230C, it's just a broken sensor.

I'm ****ed at my RAM being stable at 235MHz, but for whatever freakin reason, even down to 215MHz, my game sof2 keeps 'unexpectedly erroring' and wanting to send an error report :(

EDIT: The BH-5's are known for good high OC's into the 280's quite frequently. They just require an insane amount of voltage, generally towards 3.2+ to really get the performance out of them.

They are rated to survive atleast 3.5v

oops   well what do u think his temps really are, they are probably realy low right

Posted by: mike11973

it depends on his cooling as for the temps.

:D man, thats one high overclock,

just recently, i bought an OCZ dual channel kit (PC3200 EL Platinum rev2.0) and the guy told me that he had them up to DDR610 with his FX-53 with only 2.9V and 2.5-3-3-8 timings, so im looking forward to atually getting them, cant wait to find out what the 64 3200+ can do.

Posted by: Codeine

Man, that site has some crazy OC people there. They have all the best hardware too. lol look at his cpu running at basicly 3.0ghz lol. Im guessing his temps are pretty low since hes at such high speeds. Along with the fact hes a professional.

2-2-2-4 @ 293MHz is insane!

wonder how long before it dies at 3.9V lmao...

Posted by: Nubius

lol it's at 4v :p

Yeah 2-2-2-4 is ridiculous, hence the name of the thread :p

Wish I had $$$$$ up the butt like those guys
