poll: How to make a Restore CD

if you have ever owned a Compaq, Dell, HP, Emachines, or other similiar kinds of computers you would notice they usually have some sort of restore CD included to restore the operating system partition.

you can create a custom restore CD of your own that works the same way. the required hardware to make this is a floppy drive and a CD burner. does anybody want me to make a tutorial to explain how to do this?

i noticed at the top of the tutorial it says intermediate-advanced. i have never worked with symantec or anything like that. i want to make a disc of the windows with everything i have on it now, but i have no clue what most of that stuff you are saying means. is there any chance you could break it down so that computer illiterate people can do this? if anything just a little guidance would help me out alot.
