Fuse 2 partitions together as one?

I have c and d drive. i need to do windows update on windows 2k but c: only has like 100 mbs left :(

I deleted my logical d: drive and in computer management it showing that there is 4 gig on c and 16 gig of free space floating thats not partitioned now.

all i need to do now is combine c drive with the free space. keep in mind a cant download anything cause i got less than 100 mbs of space. is there someway i can bind the two?

plz help ty
