I've done some upgrades and mods on other computers though. I plan on buying this around the beginning of april so it will be there waiting for me when I get home from iraq. Im going for a gaming build with room for expanding later on. Budget isnt really a concern. I could have gone all out with it but I decided to stay reasonable. This includes everything all the way down to input devices and cooling accessories. Just looking for some feedback and criticism on it. Posted by: fade2black2004 go core 2 instead its better price vs performance Posted by: Deathawk Get an E6600 and an aw9d instead. Posted by: Sora I dunno if he wants Intel though since every other piece of his build is well informed...hes probably an Intel hater and hardcore AMD fan Posted by: cplEverett I looked at intel but it seemed like every board I looked at had some serious bug issues or something. Posted by: Sora then you haven't looked good enough... P5B-E, P5W...here are many good boards. Don't pay for an AMD that is a slower with that high end of a build. Posted by: cplEverett hmm alright ill check those out. I think it was the 680i chipset that I was looking at, and when I read about all the bugs with it I got discouraged from Intel. Posted by: Sora lol...the 680i HAHA! That's the worst one you can look at, those thing are bugged to ****. Posted by: Trotter Actually, the bugs are fixed. It was buggy at release, though... might take a BIOS flash. If I went Intel today, it would be with a 680i board. But I am an AMD fanboy. Posted by: backup287 thats a good mobo i can vouche for it Posted by: Sora Still overpriced...SLI makes everything overpriced.
