If I buy a computer without an OS and add my own hard drive with Windows XP Home Edition as master and set the hard drive included as slave, what will happen? Posted by: M733mhz Nothing will happen. So long as the two hard drives have the same OS on them and you have them set up correctly one will be master and one will be slave, nothing will happen.
