Yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo yo.
Do you think that my E6600 and this 19"Monitor will bottlneck the sexy 8800Gtx?

Thanks my fiends. Fiends.

not at all.

Posted by: Sora

First off the whole bottlenecking of an 8800GTX is very cynical. The bottleneck created by a C2D series is VERY minimal, nothing to worry about. If you are seriously scared of bottlnecking just overclock youe E6600 a bit.

If you have all the cables I guess that monitor is a good deal but regardless you do not need that low response time. 2ms is overkill. 5ms is fine, even 8 works great.

Please do not start with yo yo yo, we try to act a bit professional here.

^ lol

Thanks guys, just need the extra approval. But yes, I thought that it wouldn't be "bottlenecked." Oh and Sora, I don't mean to be rude but, if you check out my other posts, (which are very low since I just joined two days ago or so  )I try my best to be polite and is yo yo yo that offensive? I've been looking for a good forum community, people who respond fast (I got replies within three minutes literally) and who are fans of computers and frankly, that attitude on criticizing my entry to this thread is quite shocking. Crap. I'm preaching. Shoot. Anyway if you didn't like the yo yo yo, I'm sorry. Really. There's more beyond a computer, and being stern about it is kinda off the chart. But really, sorry, just trying to show some enthusiasm.

P.S. Oh darn my preaching. My lecture took more that 80 percent of my post. Hope I'm not off topic. :D

it's fine I've seen the others were professional enough and me and nagasama aren't so formal when I bash his gay XMS2 Ram (LOL)

Don't worry about a bottleneck with an E6600 and any monitor 8ms or below.

We like to respond fast here and offer the best Price/Performance parts.

Lol, thanks Sora, I appreciate it.

Did you already purchase that monitor, or looking to get it... Note that it is listed as open box item....

Posted by: Sora

Open box on a monitor isn't too bad usually as the only things it would come without are the cables.

Posted by: NosBoost300

you don't need a gtx to play on 1280x1024..... if thats the highest resolutions your getting, save your money and get a gts

get a gtx if you want to play with massive AA on 1680x1050 and 1920x1050......

Posted by: jonny_uk

a E6600 would not bottleneck a 8800GTX, and it would look great on that 19" moniter, 2ms would mean absolutely no ghosting and it would easily cope with the fast frame rates the 8800 is capable of

Posted by: Sora

Actually there have been a few tests when it did bottleneck it at stock a bit. Still it wasn't bad and nothing a slight OC cant fix

Posted by: the:megalon

I really, really, really need to learn how to oc. I've been in the computer addiction for about a year and I really want to learn how to overclock, does it require tools and results in messy work?

Posted by: Sora

You do not have to mess with the inside of your computer...i'm one of the local overclockers in this forum for C2D lol. Just pm me once you get your build.

Posted by: the:megalon

Will do, March 23'd. Mm. Thanks again.

Posted by: Evergreen

You'll find that overclocking a C2D is one of the easiest chips to clock, and if you haven't already ordered that monitor, i'd recommend this one, I'm getting it once I get a job haha

Posted by: Sora

heh evergreen are you on overclock.net? I've seen the name evergreen around

That way, they aren't interacting with each other instead of with the CPU.

Posted by: Sora

Yea i don't like XMS2 at all becuase it's price/performance ratio sucks. lol i think its gay..

haha holy crap. im not kidding dude, i just saw it on the internet...it must be true.:p

Posted by: nerdygeek

I think the res might be a waste with that monitor but the CPU should be fine, especially if you get a good HSF you can overclock very high.

Posted by: Sora

it's probably Gay Skill :P

**** gay people make some **** of ram don't they?

Posted by: guitarplyrstevo

kind of off topic but...what do you guys mean by bottleneck?
