It a new laptop and when I try and play the game it says cd stop running or insert cd, and the cd is in drive. Regardless of the CD itself, if your CD Key is say from a KeyGenerator or any of that as you lost your original, then thats the problem. EA's BF2 will run with the CD ok but it will also detect a non-unique CD Key and won't let you go any further, and I believe you will, once you get authentic Key, reinstall the game. It works great on others because others have authentic CD Keys; you dont.
