Appreciate any help, thanks. Posted by: sylwek specs would be nice... but to me sounds like faulty RAM. try downloading the Microsoft memory test here: http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp and create a bootable floppy or cd from it and let it run on system boot, and let it run for like 1-2hrs. if it shows any errors then time for new RAM!i!i Posted by: Wingdings My specs are AMD 3200+ 64bit, 1024mb kingston PC3200 ram, K-8 Trinton Mobo, Geforce 6600 GT. the probly is, it will only occur in certain games, are sound codecs known to cause such an issue? or any codec for that matter.
No not really but if u configure the codec going beyond ur system limit they might cause some errors . what codec are u using? Posted by: shortman654 It could be that the video card is overheating... Posted by: Wingdings Hmm, that reminds me, if i rightclick video files my screen goes black for a split second, maybe it is my GPU overheating, thanks.
