Nvidia has there 8800 out when is ATI going to come out with something that compares to it? or is better or whatever it is going to be. anyone know?

R600 is supposed to come out next month, this is their direct fire back at Nvidia's 8 series.

I believe the one that will beat a 8800GTX is called an X2900XTX or something. I can't remember now though.

Then the one that will fire back at Nvidia's 8900GTX when they release it is an X2900XTX2 which is just like the 7900GX and 7950GX having two chips on one card.

actually its going to be xtxtxtxtxttxtx2950xxtxtxtxxttxtxxtxttxtx and then the xtxtx2900xttx. who cares nvidia will just fireback anyways, so buy the r600 and then but the 8900gtx then buy the 2950 then get the 8950 etc.... thats how i will always be anyways

Stick with a company... buy its products... and don't sell your comic book collection for 5+ fps over your current card :rolleyes:

It's back and forth... and way too often to give a crap. Just buy a card and be happy.
