I analyzed my computer and found the motherboard as the problem. Is it possible to replace it with this motherboard?

yes, you should be able to use that mobo with your current processor and other items. You will need to format the hard drive and load Winblows. That may require a new copy, because i doubt the recovery disk will do the trick on your new mobo.

Personaly, i would put that old bomb to rest and purchase a whole new computer. Depending on your tech level, you may want to consider a Dell. (not trying to be offensive, it's only a potential solution to your problem.) :)

I have a Compaq Presario 2500 Laptop, I would like to get a new computer but my parents don't want to spend that much money.
