I started using it not too long ago and I am having a problem understanding what Bridging, NAT and those other options do. I have a few Vmachines setup and I can't ping my computer but FROM my computer I can ping them. What gives? What should I have my network set at so I can be on one network together. Also, when I check ipconfig/all from my computer it shows a list of different IP's than what are actually on the Vmachines. When I ping the ones that are different it will find them but not the actual IP address assigned on the Vmachine... edit: All I want is to have every machine or Vmachines communicate with each other. Posted by: limey Modz: please delete. Posted by: Law Did you get it working? All you had to do was either use Bridge or Team. Bridge will connect the virtual OS to your actual network, so it will be as if it's part of the subnet. Team only works on 1 physical host, where you put multiple virtual OS located on 1 physical host into a team and create a router that has two interfaces, one part of the team and one bridge to communicate with the rest of the network. Posted by: limey Yes I got it to work just fine with the bridging. I ham them set to NAT at first and then changed to bridge. It seemed to not take right away because it didn't work one night but the next morning everything was fine. vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited.
