I've just recently read some reviews on the two sets of speakers, from anyone who has experience here, which set do you think sounds better and why?

I just brought home a set of the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 and am playing my second song on it.

Man, this is too much power for an apartment. My upstairs neighbors will HATE me. Heheh

Can't comment on the Z-2300s - I listened to them at the store. CompUSA was courteous enough to put the Klipsch and the Z-2300 side by side. they both sound good to be honest to you. The Klipsch may have a bit more panache, or brand-name prestige.

BTW, the Klipsch speakers sound GOOOODDDD!!

Go with the Z-2300's. ive never herd the Klipsch, but have had 2 sets of logitec speakers, X-530 and Z5500. Both sound great, so i am sure the same applies to the Z2300.
