Everything seems to be running fine, but one concern I have is that when I go into my MSI Core Center, it tells me my "SYS fan speed" is 0 rpm... is this ok? Or did I forget to plug something in or something? Cheers, Ben Posted by: apdrummer Its ok as long as you know its plugged somewhere, and it is running. If the fan is running but the system isn't showing the speed then you probably have it hooked up to a molex connector straight to the PSU, bypassing the Mobo, which is where the software gets the fan speed readings. To clarify this is your SYS fan not the CPU fan? your CPU fan should get a reading. Posted by: reggie_da_man As long as the temps are fine then it's all good. Posted by: Narpstar And what temp is too hot? Posted by: dwayneford MAX 70c Posted by: Chris_PC I wouldnt like to reach 70 to be honest, Id say 60C max for the CPU Posted by: Ethereal_Dragon I usually figure 60*C for CPU, and 75*C - 80*C for GPU to be limits. Have you done a VISUAL check to ensure that all of the fans are spinning? What about to make sure everything is connected. There are not that many connections in a PC that need to be made, and ensuring and double checking that everything is plugged in shouldn't take more than a few minutes. vBulletin Copyright ©2000 - 2003, Jelsoft Enterprises Limited.
