The Ultimate Ubuntu Tweaking Guide is a new user friendly guide that explains how to tweak Ubuntu for a better performance. It is a guide for new users because it explains every step instead of explaining just some and assuming that the user has the experience to get to the point where the explanation starts. So, what can you expect from the ultimate ubuntu tweaking guide ? It starts of by optimizing and compiling the latest kernel, adding support for dual core, hyperthreading and multithreading processors and enabling or disabling services in Ubuntu. Everything is easy to follow and should increase the overall performance of the Linux system. It should not be called the ultimate guide but it is nevertheless a nice guide that boosts the system performance of Ubuntu.
