I have come across an old Compaq that seems as though it's up for the job. [/B][/QUOTE] lol - judging by the lag I've seen from you playing CSS, i'd say, you might want to either up your ISP to something much, much faster on the upload, or scrap the whole "Game Server" idea. [/B][/QUOTE] Dude, that was the only time that's ever happened. Game lag has never been a problem on my side, nor people that are on the same server as me. If I recall, I think it was only Nubius and You that saw the lag. I actually did lag like a mofo, I recorded my self thru the console watched it later that night. Pretty weird. I deleted my autoexec and yeah. I dunno maybe you might need to adjust your rates as well. Who knows. I have just never had that problem though. Ever. Im looking into a new ISP any way, as mine is pretty weak My current one rapes me, Of course theres nothing special where I live so I kinda have to deal with it. Looking into verizon DSL, About 3 MBps down/up for half the price of what Im paying now. So yeah. Posted by: HAVOC lol - I don't know man... I don't hardly ever play CSS... But, I do know that "Fraps" was reporting my FPS at 120+ and my ping was like 12ms. I also have fiber optic cable that averages 25,000 kbps DWN & 4000kbps UP. LOL - that night you were teleporting all over the screen... But, it's all good... I could give two craps less about CSS... It's half a MOD if that.
