I got 3 computers attached to a router. They all work fine but when i download torrents the internet goes down on all the computers but the torrent keeps working. Anyone got any idea?

Yeah, i'd suggest updating the firmware on the router.

what do you mean by "goes down"
do you mean it stops responding, or it shows "page cannot be displayed"
you might just be utilizing all of the bandwidth with torrenting
try limiting the upload to 50% of your upload max
