hey all soulafien here.

got a little problem with a game and a sound card

first of all ive been using teamspeak for years and had little problems with it. it works underneath ALL my games except one

star wars battlefront 2

what the problem is...when i have ts on the game goes to load a map and then drops to desktop...both work fine without the other

was using a ensoniq(1371)soundblaster128(old i know) but stll working good enough for me.

well because of this everyone told me that it was the sound card! so i went and got a soundblaster audigy se(ls)

didnt help so im stumped and would love some input

ant suggestions would be helpful

if this new card doesnt fix the problem im taking it back no sense wasting money

Sounds to me like star wars battlefront ha a compatibility issue with TeamSpeak causing it to close. Try checking you have the latest version of teamspeak, and the latest patch from battlefront 2.

I highly doubt its your soundcard, especially if it doesnt work with your new one aswell.

Also on 2nd thoughts have you tried loading up a map without teamspeak on, and then once the map has lloaded press the windows logo desktop button (Right of Ctrl and Left of Alt on the right of the keyboard), and then launching temspeak, a bit of a hassle but if it works you'll be able to use teamspeak and battlefront 2 in conjuction with the other.
