It was short, but a breath-taking experience. Other games I've enjoyed a lot: Civilization II, III and IV (every sequel has been an improvement), Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri (great game; very underlooked), Grand Theft Auto series (I've been playing these since the first GTA), Half-Life (virtually as good as the sequel), Baldur's Gate I and II (classic RPGs!), Command and Conquer: Red Alert (classic RTS!), and many others that I forget right now. But its about as expensive as buying a new copy of the game every month. Ive boguht the game once, why the **** should i have to pay as much money as the whole game every month... Its ludicrous, But i suppose 7 + Million People would have to disagree with me there :(. Well anyway CS:S Is my #1 now, previously CoD2, Soon it will be Crysis (I'll have to put up with ultra low settings with my because of my poo pc). Guys can you reccomend a game, preferably not an FPS. Something new. Something a bit different. Maybe an RTS game, but not AoE3 or cossacks ect ect. Im after something a littlebit different... I seriously lost myself in City 17 completely. I was shocked at how emmersive and alive it was. Absolutely seemless and fluid. It affected me more so than any book or movie too. The story was monumental. :eek: I've never felt so emotional over a story. I was sick to my stomach in City 17, on edge in Kliener's lab, relieved everytime Alyx showed up, FrEaKEd out in Ravenholm, etc. WHAT A TRIP... :eek: Posted by: darkop16 ^^agreed. I like oblivion, BF2/2142, and supreme commander. As far as older games: command and conquer (entire series), ghost recon (still got the original), and starcraft. I wish I could have my memory wiped so i can experience it all again. (without knowing what happens) lol I've been dyin for episode 2 but it is further delayed until the fall I belive.
