Hi guys my connection is going down from 1.5mbps to like 500kbps at night. This is intolerable because its not possible to play online with this constant lag.

When I phone my isp they will just say that it's my computer's spyware lowering my connection speed, but i already used many spyware/virus removal programs to scan my computer weekly and so far the most viruses/ spyware it ever found was like 2 cookies. I removed them already.

I really think this is my router/modems problem because they are unusually hot when I touch them. It's almost burning. maybe hardware overheating? I have a friend living in the same area but he doesn't get slow downs, ever. It's just me.

any help, recommendations? :D Thanks
